What to Expect

Worship

Worship connects us with God and one another. Through music, scripture, and ancient prayers, you are invited to experience God’s grace. We use a variety of musical instruments (organ, piano, guitar, cello, & more) to lead our singing. We pray for each other, our community, and the world.

Sermon

By the mysterious work of the Holy Spirit, the sermon is the Word of God to the community of faith. Pastor Russ strives to connect the Bible to our daily lives, offering us the Good News of Jesus Christ. Each worshiper is called to listen to the message with openness and faith. Ultimately, the sermon is more than preacher and listener, as the Holy Spirit uses the sermon to speak to our hearts and minds.

Communion

All believing Christians are invited to the Lord’s Table. We kneel at the railing around the altar to receive communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, but communion is available weekly following the service by request. Should you prefer grape juice over wine, please let a Communion Assistant know.

Experience worship and bring your questions.

FAQs

  • Every weekend you will experience a warm and welcoming environment with friendly people who will help you find your way around.

We gather in the Sanctuary on Sundays at 10am for worship.

The way we order our worship is meant to enable all who have gathered to participate in common acts of worship, such as singing, prayer, and hearing God’s Word.

If worship is new to you, don’t worry, we provide a printed bulletin to follow along.

  • Wear whatever makes you comfortable! You'll find a range of attire, from jeans and shorts to dress shoes and sandals. Whether you prefer casual or formal clothing, come as you are. We're delighted to have you with us, and your presence is what matters most.

  • Your children are welcome to join us as part of the worship service! But if you find yourself needing a more private space to partake in the service, we have a Nursery with a view of the main Sanctuary. This space is prepared as a safe place for your children.

As our church grows, we are expanding our ministry programs to include children, Jr High, and High School students. Keep an eye out on this site as we roll out our programs.

  • We understand that getting to know new people can sometimes be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be that way. We offer numerous opportunities for you to build meaningful connections and forge new relationships.

We encourage you to explore our Ministries page and Events Calendar.

  • Reach out to us with your specific question by giving us a call at (949) 759-1031 or send us an email at info@cdm.church.
